By using Tenantry, you agree to these Terms of Service.
By creating an account, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account.
Tenantry is a service of ADAK Ventures LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("Tenantry," "we," "us," or "our").
Tenantry is a property-management and communication tool for residential rentals. Where in-app rent or deposit payment via Stripe is enabled for your account, those payments are processed by Stripe and settled directly to the landlord's connected Stripe account — Tenantry never holds funds. Tenantry is not a bank, escrow agent, real-estate broker, law firm, or legal advisor.
Tenantry's lease generator produces a general-purpose template for convenience only. It is not legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. The template may not satisfy the laws of every state or locality. The landlord is solely responsible for the legal sufficiency of their lease and for any fees it charges.
Signing documents in Tenantry is governed by the Consent to Electronic Records and Signatures, which users accept before signing their first document.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
You agree not to use Tenantry to violate any law, infringe any third party's rights, transmit malware, harass or harm others, or interfere with the operation of the service.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tenantry, ADAK Ventures LLC, and our officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the service; (b) content you submit, including lease terms, charges, statements, or messages; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
Tenantry is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tenantry's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid Tenantry in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tenantry is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you and Tenantry consent to personal jurisdiction there.
This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection laws of the state where you live.
You may stop using Tenantry at any time and may delete your account in the app under More → Delete Account.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms (including the Acceptable Use section), if required by law, or to protect the safety or security of other users or the service. Where practical, we will give advance notice and an opportunity to correct the problem; we may act immediately where the conduct is unlawful, fraudulent, or presents an immediate risk.
We may discontinue the service, or any part of it, with at least thirty (30) days' notice to active users.
Terminating an account does not affect your lease. Your lease is between you and your landlord or tenant, and remains in force according to its own terms. Executed lease documents and their signing audit records are retained after account deletion as legally required records, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will require re-acceptance on next login.
