Delete your Tenantry account

Tenantry by ADAK Ventures LLC

This page explains how to delete your account in the Tenantry app (published by ADAK Ventures LLC), what is deleted, and what is kept.

Delete it in the app

Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. You are signed out on that device, and all your other sessions stop working.

If you have an active or pending lease, you cannot delete your account until that lease ends. This is because the lease involves another person. Owners can end or transfer the lease from the dashboard. Tenants need to ask their landlord to do it.

Request deletion by email

If you can no longer sign in or have uninstalled the app, email assistant@tenantry.pro with the subject “Delete my account”. Send it from the email address on your account, or include the phone number on your account. We confirm the request came from you, delete the account within 30 days, and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

Autopay is also switched off, and your link to any property is closed, so you are no longer billed and no longer charged rent through Tenantry.

What is kept

Some records must be kept even after an account is deleted, either because the law requires it or because another person relies on them. We keep them with your name, email, phone number, and address removed from your account:

We keep these records for as long as the law requires for lease and payment records, and use them only for legal, tax, and dispute purposes.

Data held by our service providers. Stripe keeps its own payment and identity-verification records under its legal obligations. Crash reports sent to our error-monitoring tools are deleted automatically on those tools’ normal schedule.

Data on your device. Tenantry keeps an offline copy of your leases, payments, and messages on your phone. Deleting your account does not remove that copy. To remove it, uninstall the app or clear its storage.
